Hi and welcome to Sew-Ichigo! I live in the UK on the south west coast and I have been stitching and drawing since I was a child. I love vintage, especially fabric and kitchenalia- both inspire and excite me. I blog at verykerryberry. I met Penny in Ringo Pie. We were drawn together through a mutual love of paper piecing and kitchen themes. We have been plotting and hatching for some time developing a project where we can work together and so Sew-Ichigo was created. We aim to combine our graphic, quirky, cute styles to make you the best paper piecing patterns we possibly can.

Hi there! I'm sew happy you have found your way to our Sew-Ichigo! My love for paper piecing was born about 2 years ago and since then I've not looked back. When I'm out and about and something catches my eye, my first thought is, "oooh, that would make a really great paper-pieced design!" I can't help it, it's in my blood! Kerry and I are super excited for Sew-Ichigo and hope that you will be too! I blog at sewtakeahike, where I share a bit about life, quilts, sewing and all my favorite things.
I'm looking forward to your collaboration. I read both of your blogs, and participate in sew a longs. The Sew Out Loud SAL is really expanding my knowledge and pushing my boundaries. I love paper piecing and "kitchenalia" as well. By making pp patterns, do you mean sharing or selling?
ReplyDeleteHi LindaAnn! We are working hard on drawing up a package of patterns that will go on sale very soon, we will be sharing as well but each pattern does take a lot of work to get up and ready for people to be able to sew, so Sew-Ichigo is the blog to our online shop endeavours!
DeleteCan't wait to see what you 2 come up with!
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely atrocious at paper piecing, but looking forward to all the fun! Great idea ladies :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kerry and Penny!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm very anxious to have the patterns you will sell! I love everything both of you make!
I don't need to say that I'm addicted to paperpiecing! I knew this technic since 10 years ago and I stopped never more. But here in Brazil we use to take patterns from books, and after know you I discovered the free style paperpiecing and I fell in love with this! I need to learn how to improvise but I'm trying and learning with every works I see in your flickr and blog! and now, Here!
Congratulations for your knew work together!
Good luck both with your sales.
